Paul Bunyan's Oceanview Cottages is located just 5 short minutes up Route 19 from the Port Hastings Rotary. If you are venturing onto the Island from mainland Nova Scotia, you will get into the left most lane and will drive up through the middle of the rotary where you will find yourself facing Smitty's Restaurant and Lounge and the Esso Gas Station. From there you will keep left with traffic but will get into the right most lane and head straight to Route 19. There is a Paul Bunyan's sign located just as you leave the rotary that will let you know you are heading in the right direction.

If you are coming to us from another location on Cape Breton Island, getting through the rotary is more direct. From Reeves Street in Port Hawkesbury, you will stop before entering the rotary. Once you enter the rotary, you will keep to the right, towards the Paul Bunyan's sign. The same applies for those who are entering the rotary via the 104 Trans Canada Highway on Cape Breton Island. Once you enter the rotary stay in the right most lane and you too will see the Paul Bunyan's sign.
