Troy Lodge Cottages by the Sea

The Cottages

The cottages, nestled in a small cove on the Strait of Canso, offer privacy and a tranquil and relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of life. If you're lucky, you may see the whales spouting in the Strait. Watch and listen for the tankers and barges entering the channel heading for the local superport. You may also catch a glimpse our many wildlife neighbors on the Trans Canada Trail, which crosses on the lawn in front of the cottages.

Located on Cape Breton's Route 19, the scenic Ceilidh Trail, you will find the cottages situated just a stone's throw away from the shoreline of the Strait of Canso.

Each cottage has its own parking space and a picnic table just off the deck. If you're thinking about enjoying the sunsets and a late dinner, there is a propane barbeque available.

Each of the cottages have bedroom(s) with a double bed in each. The room is completed with a bureau, night stand, lamp and built-in closet.

In the living room you can sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the view and sounds of the ocean from the open windows. The pine table brings a rustic feel to the room. Relax on the couch, which converts into a double bed, and check out the local channels for upcoming events and entertainment.

A full kitchen, complete with utensils, dishes, microwave, refridgerator, electric oven, coffee machine, toaster, and pots and pans is there for your convenience.
